We currently have a great opportunity for a Cloud Architect to lead our team in building Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for our world-class PLM software portfolio.
Roles andResponsibilities:
Lead the definitionand communication of SaaS solution architectureacross globallydistributed cross-functional development teams, includingdefining and implementing development standards, processes, and othersupporting activities across teams
Leadcoordination with supplier service teams, vendors, and other expertsinside and outside of our enterprise organization to negotiate requirements andcomply with relevant policies
Lead adoption of best practicesfor cloud-native architecture, Web servicedevelopment, security, operations, continuous integration (CI),continuous delivery (CD), DevOps, and other supporting areas as asubject matter expert
Contribute to the transformation ofbusiness and development practices to support SaaS solution development anddelivery
Contribute directly to thedesign and implementation of cloud-hosted frontend andbackend Web components
RequiredExperience and Skills:
5 or more years ofexperience developing Web services
3 or more years of experience withsolution architecture on AWS
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Mastery of one or more of the followingprogramming languages: JavaScript, Python, C#, or Java
Strong written and verbal communicationskills
Knowledge of security and operationsbest practices for SaaS
Knowledge of AWS Services, includingEC2, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, IAM, and other coreservices
PreferredExperience and Skills:
Experience as a TeamLead for one or more development teams
Experience implementing DevOps bestpractices and working with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab CI
Experience with AWS Infrastructure asCode solutions, such as CloudFormation
Knowledge of cloud and systems securitybest practices and leading security reviews
Experience working in an enterpriseorganization, with globally distributed development teams
Experience developing frontend Websolutions
