Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Basic Qualifications
0 Years with Bachelors in Science- Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
Preferred Qualifications
The candidate should have a degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering. This job entails support of generators in the fleet as well as procurement and testing of generators for new construction ships. As such, the candidate should have a basic understanding of engineering concepts associated with generators and control systems and a desire to learn more. The candidate should also have an aptitude for technical writing.?Req ID: 3993
